Hi! I’m Amira Yanni.
Blooming Minds Counselling is led by Farah Alnajar, a Licensed Professional Counsellor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional dedicated to helping individuals heal, grow, and rediscover their strength. Through trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, I support clients in navigating life’s complexities with clarity and confidence.
My work is rooted in evidence-based practices, including EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), combined with empathy, cultural awareness, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I believe healing is not about fixing who you are, it is about understanding your story and reclaiming your sense of self.
At Blooming Minds Counselling, my mission is to create a safe and empowering space where clients can process trauma, manage anxiety, and build a life aligned with their values.
Walking the talk
I believe meaningful therapy begins with authenticity and a commitment to growth. The work I do with clients is grounded in compassion, self-reflection, and ongoing professional development. I stay current with research and evidence-based approaches so I can provide thoughtful, effective care tailored to each person’s unique needs.
Outside of the therapy room, I value balance and connection. I enjoy spending time outdoors, trying new recipes, and sharing meaningful moments with friends and family. Staying active and engaging in creative outlets helps me remain present, grounded, and energized in both my personal life and my work.
